Is there any way to play NTSC wads on a PAL wii? I'm REALLY curious to play Doc Louis's Punch Out and WADs are looking likely to be the only way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use the patched IOS70, or the Priiloader regionfree everything hack.

Thanks for the quick response. Basically, priiloader is telling me it cannot find the hacks.ini on neither the fat or the nand. I've pu tit in the root off the sd card. Prilloader just exits itself. Sorry, I'm really tryong to not be a n00b about this, everything else seems fine.

You could try Startpatch. Basically it's the hacks from priiloader, but not all the other stuff.

Perhaps there are better alternatives nowadays, but back in the days there were some patcher app called Freethewads or something like that. It might be useful if you don't want to fiddle around too much with your Wii.

Yeah, or you can use DOP-mii to download IOS70 and patch it.

I suggest using the DOP-mii way as Majroa say. Then you can play "backed up" SD games from the SD Card menu in the Wii. [IMG]
