    Hi there,

I want to play a bunch of ntsc games on my pal wii as they will never see a eu release. The problem is I have a lot of problems running them. If I run them in ntsc mode the whole game only has red colors but runs fine otherwise (but not playable, because everything is reddish). If I force pal50 or any other pal mode the screen will hang at a green screen. There are some games that work, but games like NMH (I want blood, not the blocks on my pal disc) won't work at all.

Is there anyway to fix this? I really would like to play games like fatal frame.

I use usb loader gx btw though i'm not sure if it really is a loader related problem.

edit: I managed to get FF working by putting my tv on 60hz and using ios 223. But I'd rather not put my tv in 60hz because it makes my tv do a really high pitched sound which gets annoing after some time.

Does your TV take a component signal?

Ditto Tattar above.... I have no problem playing pal games on ntsc, (via modchip) but I think it's mainly because of the component cables hooked up to my lcd. People have reported problems on some games with normal tvs or hdtv's that didn't support pal.

I use the official Nintendo scart cable. My tv is a oldskool crt model btw. Its not ancient, it has a flat screen etc so its fairly ''modern'' though it doesnt seem to like ntsc very much. My friend has a old sony trinitron crt and that does ntsc games no problems he says.
