I’ve noticed an eu dump of Splatoon 2 dlc is out has anyone tried it sx os? I’m a bit worried about installing over the DevMenu I think it’s asking for big trouble ie a console ban!

Then those people shouldn’t even be touching mods for the switch

not at this stage, at least until they become more user friendly. probably not in their best interest to ruin their switches
most stuff in the scene right now is just "follow these instructions to the letter" so even someone like me who ain't so good at this stuff can do it without constantly asking for help

They are working on an NSP installer, devmenu is just a temporary solution for "advanced" users.

I know we don't have etas in this community, but just in a casual manner... How long do you reckon? I think it'll be the end of the month.
EDIT: or if boginstaller releases and they can c̶o̶p̶y̶ ̶i̶t̶ hurry up their own unique development to compete

Just do it offline, do not come out of offline until the dump is deleted from your system and the console is clean again.

Do eshop titles dlc etc not have certs? What gives it the id for checks. Are you sure soon as I boot Splatoon up ninti won’t flag it

I'm not the guy to ask. I'm not going to do it until Atmosphere releases with SciresM's fake report function, anyway, so I don't really stay super informed on that.

Devmenu only functions through LFS, LFS only functions on 5.x, so devmenu is not a full solution at the moment for anybody under 5.x.

If I'm getting it right, it fixes the issue with NXDereport by creating an alternative, real-looking report in the place of your one. It would curb the visibility of homebrew users by a ton.

I download the usa version of zelda dlc and splatoon dlc from the gui grabber and they work fine.

Does DevMenu have a "compatibility list" or should all NSP titles work? I have tried two copies of Arcade Archives Vs Super Mario Bros and both fail to install

all nsps work (and i’ve tried a few)
if they don’t you need to check the threads for the common mistakes
and devmenu is just like fbi, it doesn’t get much easier.
tx really don’t need to bother making it more noob friendly tbh now we have cdnsp guis

and just make sure to make the file names simple. idk if that matters but i removed all the extrA numbers and [] stuff..

How did you acquire Vs Super Mario Bros? Did you use a website (I know linking is not allowed) or did you download it using CDNSP? I am having trouble finding CDNSP and then i'd have to learn how to use it....this is why I tried using other people's files that had been dumped and it didn't work. Which is odd, I got Fast RMX to work just fine...
