Does anyone have insight as to why Shining Pearl update 1.1.1 gives me an "exception index out of range" error when I try to extract the nca contents? Or is there a different way to extract romfs folders for updates?

EDIT: nevermind I just needed to read up on hactool and now I feel like an idiot for not figuring this out immediately

i wanted to know why NSZ reads compressed games as corrupted even though NSC builder reads games as fine
I'm having the same problem, if I decompress the file back to NSP then it installs fine, but installing as NSZ (Awoo 1.3.4) results in a corrupted game. It seems random though, only maybe 1/2 games do this

AFAIK NSCB uses system libstd which is likely 1.5.0+
DBI uses libzstd master
Awoo uses 1.4.4 or older. That can be source of corupted install I think.
You were correct! I tried DBI with a test game that previously installed as corrupted and it worked straight away. I can't say I particularly like DBI but at least now I know Awoo is the issue
