Hacking Now to use backup tool with Nintendo Wifi USB connector

For some reason, my normal wifi router doesn't work with my DS (security not supported or something). So I have a Nintendo Wifi USB connector (NWC). The DS connects perfectly to the NWC, but the Back up tool doesn't work. I'm following the monroeworld guide, and I got SmallFTPd and that stuff. So what do I change the IP address settings and stuff to get this to work?

I think you need a hacked Nintendo WFC driver to use it with homebrew & you can change your router password to a WEP key if you want.

screw encryption i just use mac filtering and turn wifi off when i'm not using it

How do you get that? Everything I find is horribly outdated, and doesn't work on Vista.

I'm not exactly sure. I don't know much about the NWFC USB connecting to Flashcarts as I use a router.
