    region free? what have i missed? you cant play any pal or us game on the jap wii can you? or are you talking about the vid tool for the pal games?

    Datel's Freeloader is due out very soon and it promises complete Wii game support along with blocking firmware updates from games.

    True. I'll take region free over a MKDD 1.5 anytime.

    But don't worry, people will come up with a way to circumvent such an update eventually, if the Freeloader doesn't already do so (which, according to Datel, it does.)

    No, Nintendo will not verify WiiScrubbed ISO's because this would mean that the Wii would check 2-3Go of the disc each time
    No, Nintendo DOESN'T CARE much about the Region Free. They might release an update that will block the commercial Freeloader, but not of patched ISO's

    Nintendo wants to avoid piracy, they don't care muche about the mods made on Wii games. They just want to block modchip.
