    hai guise!

I have the no limit homebrew channel on my wii. Although it appers to work, the programs i boot from it do not. the WAD installer, for example, does not work from it. And Gecko Region Free runs, but does not boot any games. So i'm stuck having to use the twilight hack each time.

Does anyone know what can be done about this?

i wouldn't touch the no-limit crappily hex-editing homebrew channel with a 21-foot pole. have fun when your wii ends up bricking due to some bug in his code.

Suggest you just use it to load the Elf-Loader (the front SD one that's like in 0.4 or something on wiibrew).

Like Front-SD Elf Loader or something is the name.

Hmmmm I've been using the homebrew channel for awhile now and have had no problems. I will say that it's a matter of finding the right proggie to work with it though. I even install my VC Games with it. I have a link in my SIG to my little tutorial on that.
But then again I have no choice but to use the homebrew channel due to my disk drive being busted.
So no twilight hack for me anymore.

If a Wii bricks because of the channel it's going to be because of a bug in Twiizers code and not because of a very minor byte change made by someone else.

Has that happened yet? No. The code is sound.

well the time limit one's not much use, cos after the time limit, you can't use it again (so i hear). Ive tried that elf loader thing, but the results are the same.

And dakota, the link on your sig doesn't work.

Just in case i've got some crappy fail version, could someone perhaps point me in the direction of a decent working version of the homebrew channel.

    thanks everyone!

I use it in conjunction with "Wii Homebrew Launcher" and I've yet to find an app that doesn't work and I've tried most of them.

I just use SDElfLoader for the homebrew channel.
It allows the elf installer and uninstaller to work as well, and it makes it much more easy for testing injections.
