Hacking Not used my 3ds in a long time can someone help to summarise what I missed and current state of play

Hi all,

Didn't use my 3DS in nearly a year, just booted up and updated to Luma 10.0.1.
System version is 11.7.0-40E.

I have CIA Angel / Freeshop / Homebrew launchers installed.

Is it safe to update to latest 3ds software or will it block all my stuff from working?
Are CIA Angel and Freeshop now dead? What is the best process for adding new games these days?

its safe to update yes.
yes. they are deaded. and no revival with what ninty did.
google. simply ask and search and download to install with fbi.
