The Switch is perfectly portable. In fact, I feel that it's a bit small, if anything....

I don't mind a bigger screen, but same sized Switch for a "XL" version or alternately, a Switch with less bezel for a smaller version.
Basically, I don't want the screen smaller and I don't want the Switch bigger.
I don't think they will change the console size, specially not its height. That would make joycons incompatible, and they sure want to keep selling that shit.
A bigger screen due to thinner bezels in the other hand sounds great.

Did you ever hold a Switch?

It already is the XL model of itself.

A lite switch is where it's at, but not right now.

Nah I'm just talking shit because I'm a hater. Of course I've held one man, I own one. "3DS XL TYPE SWITCH". Someone already did this with me earlier, I personally want either the switch to be a little smaller like say a Vita (preferably not) or foldable like a 3DS XL or GPD WIN since it probably can't get too much smaller. That way it fits in my pocket controls and all.

Switch was made to never be undocked anyways.

Lol I agree, that's why they need a mini model to do what was advertised.

Wii u is so far the only console from Nintendo that didn't get a model update and we all know why. Switch is selling well now, when it slows down they'll change up there game like they always do.

Speak of the devil and he shall appear MFRS!!!

You really can't make the switch much smaller due to heat concerns.

As for others stating it should be made into a 3ds clamshell form factor, you do realize it would end up too thick to fit in pockets the switch already currently doesn't fit in because you would still need the current thickness on one half for the active cooling, and the other half would need to house the battery because you aren't fitting a battery and active cooling in one half of the clamshell.

Ya'll really should try to understand how these things work before trying to say something like that.
You can make the switch a tad smaller, but not by any worthwhile amount without cutting power/performance or battery life. Maybe if they pull a "new nintendo switch" with a completely different and newer SoC, but I wouldn't count on that happening any time soon.

Is pretty portable to me and the best one ever made... Just wished the right joystick was in the same height as the left one as it hurts a bit on my hand and had joystick, that would make it PERFECT for me, other than that I like the size of switch way better than the 3DS or the Vita...

I always carry my Nvidia Shield tablet 8 inch everywhere...

And I think theres a difference from handheld to portable since even a gaming laptop is called as portable while they are HUGE, FAT and HEAVY...
Higher resolution switch id buy, I wouldn't buy a bigger switch.
For the size of it its pretty good... And anyway I think those games in native 720P in the 720P will look kinda more HD than if it was runing at 720P in a 1080P.

Also 1080P screen would eat a considerable amount more of battery juice. It would totally be welcomed, but the 720P doesnt also look that bad for its size even though even smaller phones with 1080P still looks better than the 720P, most you only see a big difference if its too close to your eyes, the 1080P will be considerably sharper, else it won't affect that much as in big TV's being watched from close, 720P would just crap down nowadays...

The Switch is too small but the screen bezels are huge, giving it unecessary heft. Or maybe it is on purpose to fit the components inside? Hm

You should have known you would have gotten a lot of flack stating something like this. 2 many Nintendo knights on this website but yeah as good as the console is, I do agree that it doesn't fit as good in my hands and feels 2 bulky. Would have liked it to be more round and less bulky like the vita is but still with the bigger screen ofcourse

Mine is basically a home console. It's just too big to carry around without a bag. Tbh, I really don't like how it's a hybrid. Instead of getting a really good home console or a really good portable, we get a bunch of compromises.

Lol I 1000% knew this would happen, but buzz is buzz. I personally feel like enough people are on my side to call it a minor victory (vote for the small boy!), hopefully this goes somewhere other then this thread.

Hey that's fine bro, that's exactly how I feel. I wouldn't mind paying for another model that was "pocketable" lol. So long as saves cross over seamlessly. But I'm curious as to what your problem is with the switch when it's docked. Is it that it's underpowered? Maybe they should have done it similar to Wii U with two seperate devices. One that's a more powerful home console and the other a lower spec handheld that was more portable and had better battery life. Only problem is most people hated Wii U. If the next console by Nintendo resembled it, it would probably be a turn off for most but I'm not a marketing expert.

There's a simple solution to this first world problem: https://www.lalabu.com/

:rofl2: Awesome, I laughed then I showed my brother in law expecting him to laugh but he didn't, he honestly wanted one. I laughed in his face to tears (and maybe dragged it on too far) and my sister got really pissed for trying her hubby/kangaroo personified. I challenged them both to a 2/1 slap box match which they promptly turned down in favor of sending me home. Relevant or not, twas worth it :grog:

Let's stay on topic from here on out though :switch:
