Hacking Not all cheats work on akaio

Well the major of them work, but not all of them
My friend has the same ones I do and they work on his so i'm really confused to why they aren't all working for me
I Just downloaded all the cheats from http://cheats.gbatemp.net and the ones i need still don't work.
I'm using Akaio 1.8.6a and a sandisk 8gb sdhc micro sd card and all the games are working
I've soft reseted and enabled everything, but the cheats still don't work
anyone know a solution to this?

Just a 'standard' checklist of things to do:
- You are using the cheat.dat file
- It is in the __aio\cheats folder
- You press Select after choosing codes

I did do all that, some of the cheats work, but not all of them.
I've redownloaded them but no luck :/
