Hacking Not able to load games with USB Loader GX

Trying to start games using USB Loader GX leads to a black screen which after a while crashes back to where the app was loaded from (wii menu or homebrew channel. I have tried reinstalling cIOS and have tried updating using ModMii with no results. I am using Bipra 250GB HDD that has been formatted as FAT32. Please let me know if there is a way to get it to work. Thank you for your help!
