Hacking nooby help

I am completely new to the scene so forgive my noobishness
I have several questions so please bear with me.

1- Can ComicbookDS play simple CBR and CBZ files with out the conversion to CBDS?

2- On my SD concerning comicbook ds do I simply add the .nds file or do i also have to add all the other folders such as bin and lib?

3- can someone show me some pictures of their root directories please, I need to know if im doing this right.

4- And on that note how do I hide my folders - is it simply a matter of accessing the properties in windows and clicking the hide box - and does it have any adverse affects if I hide certain folders?

2. Just the .nds, and ComicBookDS.ini if you want settings (it is generated with PictoDS)
3. ?
4. That's how you do it, and there are no adverse side effects (provided you have Show Hidden Files enabled in Explorer)

by number 3 i meant the directory on your sd cards from windows explorer, but i think i generally have it.

Regarding #4, I have everything hidden except for my DS games in the root of my R4 card. I haven't noticed anything broken, so go ahead and hide them!
