At the point where it gets stuck, can you go into the Task Manager > Processes > Noob404 Update Downporter. Expand it and post a screenshot of what you see? Eg:-

Hi, thank you noob404 for this nice tool, but unfortunately doesn't work for me. I have all the software needed installed (win 8.1), i placed the pkg in the input folder and the xml file in req, but when i hit the button the app will stuck at the param.sfo downporting, and nothing will happen, like forever. Until i close it. Any advice?
