loadiine is working, but I'd like to try out this option.

Burning WUDs will not work for 2 reasons:

1- There is no way to burn one of those discs yet, due to the proprietary format used by Nintendo.
2- There is no modchip being developped at all, due to reason number 1.

The best bet would be to install the games in the console USB storage. That would be faster and also more efficient to hold a decent library of games.

If you insist on using the WUD you downloaded instead is using one of the available NUS downloaders, you will need to extract your WUD image first. Use Wud2App by Fix94 to extract your WUD image into encrypted, installable files. https://github.com/FIX94/wud2app
Then you can use WUPInstaller to install it to your console. Or you can just download install ready files from one of our available NUS downloaders, which is easier and more reliable since all assets come directly from Nintendo's servers.

Oh, that's the reason why I didn't find any information..

Thanks for all the replies!

Another Noob question:
Is it possible to connect a usb hdd to the WiiU for storing the games for Loadiine,
as the amount of space on a sd card is very limited..?

Completely agree.

I just answered his question.
There are reasons for some users to still use Loadiine. There are many that can still make a case for it. I just have found that most new gbatemp users asking questions about Loadiine don't know about the WUP Installer method due to following an outdated guide or YouTube video
