Android runs off the SD card so unless it was your primary SD card for storing your data and games then no you don't have to restore anything.

Having trouble flashing the joycon fix image. Every time I flash the image it processes fine but when I turn off my switch and load back into lineageOS hekate says no firmware found. So I turn off my switch again and boot into hekate again to load into LineageOS but there’s no changes please help

    thanks for another tutorial :P
No that's not bad to have many, as long as they are good and kept updated.
Of course, working together to make a single easier guide is maybe better, but not everyone like or understand the same thing. choice is nice.

Yours even have patches from xda, thanks for the controller fix :)

just a thing said by others too : you shouldn't suggest to install a smaller image than SD card.
the image is already smaller (15GB when you pick the 16GB SD package), maybe it was a concern about real SD size and image size not fitting, but it's 1GB less for that purpose.
if you flash the 16GB on a 64GB card, you won't get 48GB of user space, but 48GB of unallocated wasted space on your SD card.
the "userspace" partition where you install apk to is part of the image (7GB android in each images, rest is userspace usable size)

I've read about a pokemon game working on another thread, you need to install Magisk first to hide the root.

In addition to that, Pokemon go isn't designed to run on tablet like devices.

GPS spoofing may work now but it's not a guarantee that it'll work forever.
After all Pokemon Go will develop a countermeasure against it because you know--their dumb policies.

It might, it might not haven't tried actually.
And I shouldn't be wasting any more of my mobile data to download ISOs either so that can't be helped at the moment.
Try it out and let me know.

Largely out of curiosity, what happens if you don’t select the SD card external storage as the install location? Surely you cant install this on the switch nand? :P.

I believe it would install this to the unallocated space RAW partition i think.

If you flash a smaller image to a larger card, you can use gparted to extend the userdata partition to use the rest (so you can even fill out the rest of your 16GB card to use that extra gig). It would be faster than flashing a 128GB card with a 128GB image, to flash a 16GB image then extend the partition. Also, if you want to use 256GB cards, you don't have to wait for someone to release a 256GB image.
