PS1/2 Non-nostalgia, non-retro reasons to use an actual PS2 over PCSX2?

I'm on the same situation but with an original Xbox, but here the problem is not to sale but to buy one! Because the PCSX2 feel so clunky! But it have been so many years since I played those games on my Xbox that I don't know if the games were like that or its the emulation and my X360 controller!
P.D: I have a very powerfull PC so the emulator runs perfect and an Xbox One X which the backward compatible with the OG Xbox is very limited, just a few games.

In order to get decent emulation performance you would need a decent computer. I use my computer for a lot of tasks that are just better suited with me sitting at a desk (using a keyboard and mouse and sometimes a stylus). This doesn’t translate well to playing games. For games I would rather be sitting on my couch in front of my TV. So I would need a second high end computer to play from my couch. I would rather put that money to better use (eg more games or just save for a better computer for my non-gaming stuff when my current one eventually becomes too old).
