Hacking noise with original game

When i play a backup my wii hardly makes any sound, but when i play an original game the motor of the dvd reader goes mad.
Why is this? i couldn't remember this was when i first got my wii and it wasn't chipped.
And is there something so that i can solve it.

I was kinda wondering about this also. can you usually hear the drive? even if it not modded? I never paid attention until after I modded it

I'm having this too. Just an idea but maybe the originals are playing at 6x, hence the extra noise, and the backups are only playing at 3x, so they play quieter.

I have Wiikey 1.9g, haven't popped in the config disc once, all my originals make a whirling noise just as they did before chipping, and none of my backups make this noise.
