you'll have to get a new network card or fix it since connectify uses it to create the wireless access point
yeah if it allows you to use wifi functions you're ready to go
No experience on that, sorry for not being helpful any more, try googling and may the forcé be with you
Maybe this might help https://virtualrouter.codeplex.com/
Or if you are on Windows 7 you could create a AD HOC network
you can also use a old router.
How much cell data do you have? I would just hotspot my phone.
Why don't you just buy a wireless router and hook it up?
What he said. You can buy a router that plugs into the Ethernet port and using that router it can transmit a WiFi signal.
And if your not supposed to have wireless routers at college, set the mac address on the routers WAN port to be the same as your laptops mac address and it will happily work. (That's presuming you have to register your devices via mac address at your college, if not it should just work).
Either way a cheap wireless router is what you require and will do exactly what you want.
