    USBLoaderGX or Nintendont.

    I Built Custom Channels with Techmoons Injector as Wii Homebrew and vWii Channel Forwarders.

    No USB detection but work fine through vWii, So launch via vWii Menu USB works fine but loaded via WiiU Menu Channel/Forwarder USB Not detected.

    I guess this may have been looked at before but im trying to add GamePad Controls Support for GameCube and use USB HDDs.

    Guess only SDCard works through Channels/Forwarders via WiiU Menu to vWii Apps.

    I didn't make this, but this is the one I use. I can boot usb loader gx from the wii u side directly. no issues with hdd either.

    Thanks for the Channel. Yes USB HDD is working I had to manually Initialize despite set to Mount at Boot and I have IOS58 as Loader.

    But still cant use GamePad , (Not available in Wii Mode.) Is there something you can change via Meta because if I Build with Techmoons Injector I can get GamePad Controls but lose USB HDD Detection etc.

    I am using latest USB Loader GX Tab Mod which also has GamePad Control Support Integrated No TouchScreen just Buttons.

    Just wandering what is going on here since Techmoons Injector Packages it like a Virtual Console Title whereas the Channel above Roots it through to vWii.

    vWii Gives Option (This Title Supports GamePad do you wish to use it.)
    HBL2ULGX Boots through to vWii.

    The WiiU is disabling GamePad Functionality unless somehow can get (This Title Supports GamePad do you wish to use it.) to throw up the Option.

    Wii VC mode uses a special IOS which is running alongside all software, meaning that you can't use custom IOSes in VC mode. This means no USB loaders, emuNAND, or anything else that relies on features in hacked cIOSes.

    Normal vWii mode runs on normal IOSes and cIOSes, giving you all the capabilities of cIOSes, but without the special VC IOS which does all the GamePad Classic Controller emulation.

    That's the trade-off. GamePad support, or cIOS support. As it stands, you can't have both.

    Well, there is Nintendont, we can make a forwarder for Nintendont and use the Gamepad both within the loader and with any game we launch from it, but you do have to create the forwarder properly with Teconmoon's VC injector, I have it and it works great, love it. He wont be able to get a proper USB Loader GX forwarder, like maybe you could allow that USB Loader to be navigated with the GamePad if the libwiidrc code were implemented into the USBLoader homebrew and the proper Wii U forwarder were made. But it'd be pretty useless to do that, because if you launched a Wii game in that way, you wont be able to play it with any controllers after launching it from the USBLoader that way, each Wii game you want to play with the GamePad have to be created individually as a VC title to launch from the Wii U menu.

    This is because Nintendont works with Wii IOS 58, vWii IOS 58, and the Wii VC IOS.
    Note that you can lock yourself out of USB support easily in Wii VC, if the IOS thinks it needs to emulate the DVD drive through it.
