Hello, I'm trying to install an nsp update through DBI but it fails "no tickets found but they are required ." I'm using 18.1. Is this because I need to update CFW?

I don't think it is related to the CFW version.
I suspect it happens when there are multiple versions of a base game (like for the US / EU / JP region) and you happen to have an update for the wrong region.
Usually people try to get the update from another source and that seems to solve it.
