Hardware No screen or backlight 3DS XL

Hello everyone,

I am trying to see if I can bring my buddies kids 3ds xl back to life. The symptom is no screen or backlight, I get the blue power on light, but would turn off on its own after a few minutes.

However, the battery would still slowly drain during it being "off" (no lights at all)

I've popper her open, resecured all ribbons, checked around for anything that looks blown and all looks good. I've reseated the wifi card.

Still I am getting the same result. I've read about them getting stuck in sleep mode because of the magnet, but I don't really see any fixed for that.

Anyone else got any suggestions?

If you have a spare wifi Module try the other One. I had that twice with customers devices[emoji6]

Unfortunately not, I only have a 2ds and a N3DS XL to borrow from.
