Similar to new kernel exploit. Allow to downgrade 9.3-10.3 (10.4-10.6) to 9.2 for installing cfw.
Kernel exploit mean install cia files, emuand ,ext.. İf you want these functions, you must downgrade to 9.2
ARM11 kernel exploit allows control of application management (ie legit CIA installs and downgrading)
You still need ARM9 kernel for stuff like NAND dumping/restoring (Decrypt9), NAND redirection (emuNAND) and patching signature checks (CFW, illegitimate CIAs)
memchunkhax2 is currently only an ARM11 exploit.

Memchunkhax is an arm11 kernel exploit which patched in 9.2. Memchunkhax2 is new form of the hax that work on 9.3-10.3.
Give it a couple of days. Most likely it should be possible. Me being me i would downgrade as soon as possible with the new exploit that emerged. Its great. But its your choice of course.
I know what you meant with a kernel exploit. I just wanted some information about the whole memchunkhax thing. Some other posts alreadt answered the question, so now I will look and see what I can do with my 3ds. (I also had a other 3ds hacked but not with memchunkhax so I know what a kernel exploit is. Just wanted info about installing and shit)
