my legit samsung 128gig sd card was already exfat so I didn't have to format mine so i tjink the larger ones are exfat by default. I got the official exfat update when my console was on 4.1 when I inserted my sd card as I new it would and wanted it loaded before any hacking done.So how would i format the new larger sd card?
Cool.ReiNX > RajNX
But ReiNX takes away all choices when you load it. To make any choices of what it loads like layeredfs or nogcpatch you need to delete a file... That's why I like RajNX as I can pick what I want enabled when loading and even set a default option to load with the choice to load the menu instead with a key press if I want something else enabledChoice is great
ReiNX > RajNX
Personal choice, as both will work. If you run emulators then fat32 is preferred though some just run them on a separate card. Large games would need to be split before copying over to a fat32 SD and think there is a tool for that but can’t help you there. ExFat was simpler for my basic purposes. One question: Should I format SD to exfat or fat32 for this homebrew, backup and update games ?
Confirm. Debag works correctly only on RajNX at 1.0.0.RajNX is the only cfw that allowed me to boot up choidujournx without crashing. among other homebrew apps on firmware 1.0.
---I can load up the debug mode and run RajNX, but when trying to start up the layeredfs option, it black screens. SD is Fat32 and firmware is 1.0. is it the low firmware causing this?

Sorry would someone mind explaining the current differences between rajnx and reinx, I actually dont even really see anyone mentioning rajnx, ppl seem to just compare sx os and reinx.
ReiNX was built from the ground up. The only similarity ReiNX has to anything else is Hekate because they use the same hwinit. Other than that, its patches are completely its own thing. RajNX is basically Hekate + Atmosphere with some IPS patches so people can play .NSP games they do not own. On top of that, it was bundled with other useful tools such as creport, disabling of eclct, and other homebrew. Its a mish-mash of forks most of which Rajkosto himself did not make.
Both can basically do the same thing, from what i read the only difference is that ReinX have anime
I don't understand why I was quoted from a post I made nearly 2 months ago.I have used both. ReiNX crashed on me me more than RajNX has. Also I like the RajNX hekate boot options better. There is a choice to boot into layeredFS if you want as well as other options.
Thanks for RajNX!
ReiNX has that toohere is a choice to boot into layeredFS if you want as well as other options.!

ReiNX has that too
Last I used ReiNX it did not "right out of the box" to my knowledge (9.20.18), does it now with out using the tools?
All you need are the SD files, nothing else. You can book into ReiNX or layeredFS though Hekate, exactly like you do in RajNX
Last I tried when I pushed the payload it just booted straight into the anime splash screen then the os, no options. Maybe I had an old file?
