is this possible? to have a DS emulator that runs on the GC/Wii? Granted you could only play D-pad games but I think it would be cool. Especially since I don't have a DS and don't really like playing games on such a small screen. Plus there was just the D-Pad hack for phantom hourglass. Someone should get on this! Thoughts?

It could be possible once people can run actual Wii homebrew.

I had a thought similar to that, but with the PS3 running a PSP emulator instead

Well I figure they could possibly just make it GC homebrew like the rest of the emulators? I can't see why not. I don't have a clue as to how to go about programming such a thing though.

For some reason, homebrew emulators tend to perform better on handhelds than consoles. Might be due to interest level though. PS2 and Dreamcast didn't get a large enough "scene" for major homebrew breakthroughs.

The only reasons are the coder's competence and differences in architecture.
