Did I miss something but there seem to be no more new e-shop releases being dumped?

Of course, even with these tools, the one thing that needs to be dumped is the encrypted ticket key. If that is not dumped, then no one can get that game for free.
Nintendo can't simply shut down the servers. There's agreements with the games companies that probably say it has to be in the store for X time.
And if they can keep the server up for the latest consoles, they sure also can keep it up for 3DS.
This doesn't answer the "why should people dump games?" question since even dumping the ticket only still allows anyone to get a full cia that will be usable even when Nintendo shuts servers down.
