FMVs are usually rendered according to that game's native video mode, so there may be issues when forcing it to another video mode in games that don't have a hz selector or a different region.Been observing an odd issue with Kirby Air Ride NTSC when forced to PAL60-mode on PAL-consoles: the FMVs won't display or run. You can still advance past the intro sequence to the game but I'm wondering if this issue is due FMVs not getting patched to PAL60 (though again somehow FMVs work on Melee-hacks like Training Pack)
why would you force ntsc version of kirby air ride into pal 60? when the pal version has pal60 mode? people always try to the the most useless things...Been observing an odd issue with Kirby Air Ride NTSC when forced to PAL60-mode on PAL-consoles: the FMVs won't display or run. every forced setting on nintendont be it forced videomodes widecreen and such are general hacks they are never gonna work on every game you would need a per game hack to get 100% compatibility.Because PAL-version might not have something that's supported by NTSC-versions - in this case the hacks or cheat codes made by the hacking commnities for the NTSC-versions. Many of them I'd like to use aren't built for PAL-versions.
I can live without the FMVs, but stop assuming what my intentions are just because you find them ridiculous personally. I thought of pointing out this incase in the future there might be situation that could maybe faciliate exploring further development of forced PAL60 to include FMVs, in spite of this being very adequate right now.
use nintendont? xDHow can I play GameCube games on TV using Wii U?
