Anyone ever find a way to get Logitech USB steering wheels working on Triforce games, the same way they work on Dolphin? I have both a GameCube Logitech wheel (plugs in GameCube controller port) and a Xbox One Logitech G920. The GC wheel only works on a Wii with GCN ports using native controls, only on actual GameCube games with wheel support, such as F-Zero GX or Burnout 2. I've heard of people getting PS3 wheels working, but I can't find any ini files for them in Nintendont format. I also have a Brook Ras1ution 2 adapter, which allows my Xbone wheel to work on Switch, PS3, PS4 and PS5. Using the adapter in PS4 mode, I was able to get the wheel recognized by Nintendont as a G29 wheel. I used the HID identifier tool on PC to get the controller ID, but I couldn't get any button settings. I copied everything over from a Dual Shock 4 ini except for the controller ID and now buttons are detected, but only the digital buttons. The wheel and foot pedals don't do anything, and aren't registering in HID Test either. Is there any way to get this thing fully working, with force feedback, much like the Dolphin devs got it working over there? I really wanna play the Triforce arcade games with a steering wheel and feedback, just as how they worked in arcades. The Triforce games also aren't supported by the official GameCube wheel either.

Does anyone have a build of the most recent version that allows me to play Sonic Adventure DX - Director's Cut with the Gamecube IPL enabled?

Edit: Sorry, wrong console community

Guys - few questions- mostly about Nintendont and possible issues with version 5.5.2 - dual boot Aroma and Tiramisu options with boot options enabled and in channels - wiiu, viiuw ,vwiiu homebrew channel ,etc...

First is there any serious issue with 5.5.2 to run Nintendont" I have issues installing the "app" - its not recognized when in sd/wiiu/apps/Nintendont with the 2 files and the PNG pic ..filed renamed to boot.dol . Managed to run the Nintendo forwarder without an issue though . But i did not managaed to install it manually ...also i do not have wii controler ? If i manage to fix Nintendont will wii remote onlly alow me to play with vWiiu ,since i cannot control i otherwise - was not aware of this.
Thanks , tried to gather all info in the last days ,but cannot find answer to those questions :)

Nintendont is a Wii app, it's not a Wii U app. As such it doesn't go in wiiu/apps, it goes in the apps folder on the root of the SD card.

Quick update -nintedont on wii u is actually great as performance. Just one last question - seems if i use the SD card for my GC saves with emulation save on after each save it corrupts the SD card - changes settings to read-only mode ,etc - which took me an hour to revert back with some fsck Linux commans and tricks in Gparted . Changing chmod or owner or remounting was useless. Delete the save and now the SD is readable/usable on the wii U again.
So - what location would you advise to put the saves - the USB or the Wii u drive ? Or nothing wrong with using the SD card to put the saves - just some setting i need to adjust ? Or was pure luck that after the save my SD settings change - i doubt it ...

Wherever you have the Nintendont app (SD card or USB device), that's the device where it saves virtual memory card data, there is no option to change the path to a different device.

My preference is to keep Nintendont on the same external HDD as my Wii and GameCube games, but I think that Nintendont requires the HDD to be formatted as FAT32 for the app to load. For more specific information on how you should format a hard drive for Wii or vWii, you'll need to search for that, I don't remember the details off the top of my head. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Any support for the 8bitdo gamecube controller modkit?

I have been testing the 8BitDo Retro Receiver the last couple of days with various controllers. They all work great with Wii games that support the GC controller, various emulators etc., but there are issues with Nintendont. The analog stick is all over the place. I tried with my Xbox controller and my 8BitDo SF30 Pro, same issue. The receiver should have the latest firmware, but I'll connect it to my laptop and update it anyway just in case.

An update on my issues with the 8BitDo Retro Receiver for Gamecube - I resolved the issue. First I updated Nintendont to the latest version from github, but I was still experiencing the same issue. I then connected the retro receiver to my pc and used the 8BitDo Ultimate Software to update the firmware to the latest version. Happy to say it is now working correctly!

Tested on launch model Wii with Xbox and SF30 Pro bluetooth controllers.

Thanks for the reply but since i am lazy person - as 2nd line support in the past- just decided to use the FTP/SFTP apps. Installed a Filezilla on my Ubuntu and no problems since then. I just saw now when starting a game it indeeds states it mounts the SD card - which i will use until i receive my new HDD and the Y split in order to use. Wanted to see what i can do. Just tested the Wii dump app for whatever was left of my Gamecube games - works like a charm .So i am wondering if there is any chance of Drastic for the DS games . Not sure can i test Virtual Console now, see its decom - which is my best option it seems. Have unfinished copy of Alien:Infestation and my DS got stolen ages ago ,so thats the only thing i want to play . This UWVWCI injector might not work ,will have to see can i rip it myself. Cheers.

I was wondering more about the bluetooth drop in modkit for the original gamecube controller.

How are you connecting this to the WiiU?
I tried using it directly from the USB port without any luck.
WiiU- > GC Mayflash USB Adapter -> 8bitDo NGC Retro Receiver -> NGC Modkit worked!

I use pass*phrases * generally so, longer and not terribly hard to remember. But I write my work password down in my phone, because I run Amphetamine on my work macbook so it doesn't go to sleep (I work from home so no unattended access issues). I RARELY have to ever enter my password, because of that, so if I don't write it down I will 100% forget it. 10 times in 3 months would be on the higher end of how often I type it in
