I just recently bought a Wii for playing Wii (ofc) and gamecube stuff, but not a single controller I've used has been recognized by nintendont.

I have all the file structure set up correctly, using the default "controllers.zip" that is downloadable through the app (yes, it is unzipped)

The controller I'm trying to use is specifically the Nintendo Switch PowerA wired Gamecube Pro controller, though I did test my Dualsense controller as a check to see if it wasn't just the one controller.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I really don't want to go spend more money on some Gamecube controller with the original ports just to play some Wind Waker and Paper Mario.

Not really what I'm looking for though. I already spent more on the console than it's really worth, and the nunchuck doesn't work. So I'm trying to minimize the amount of money spent and shipping time wasted

No offense, but POWER A fricking sucks. I'm talking by experience.

Get an 8bit do or a PS3, PS4 controller, or a real GameCube Controller.
