When Wii homebrew becomes possible, I hope that people *don't* use this SDK. Otherwise the scene will become like the Xbox scene where binaries can't be easily linked to on public websites as they contain copyrighted statically-linked libraries.

You work with what you've got.

You know well the XDK didn't stop anyone from getting the emulators they wanted

Nonetheless, this thing saves TONS of reverse-engeneering. When a method of booting homebrew becomes possible, the scene will grow rapidly.

Having to go to an IRC channel and use FTP is a small price to pay for better homebrew.

I took a look at it... Some files are missing, for exemple license.dat (I think the guy who leaked the SDK didn't want Nintendo to know where it came from

) and apparently some dlls.

Also, without an NDEV unit, it apprears that you can't boot anything you did, at least from what I saw. Now if someone find a way to do Wii DVDs out of the generated elf, that would be awesome...

there's an .elf to .dol and .elf to dolphin image converter. I think it will produce GameCube images though, only usable on early Wii dev kits based on GameCube, and won't work with our Wiis... I'll try dols in the few next days...

I don't think this is going to be much help to anyone, honestly. It's such an old build of the SDK that it doesn't even have any info about the Wiimote or the actual Wii interface. It's more of a "GameCube Plus" devkit.

Didn't see this thread and i had made another (thanx costello) Sounds too good to be true, too bad it violates GBAtemp rules to direct link it. This sounds interesting... Will wait for a method to run homebrew now. Makes sense that it's outdated, seeing how its still reffered to as the Nintendo Revolution as compared to the Wii.

the sdk actually still refers to it as revolution much like the gc one calls it dophin.. the date is in the filename, its not particularly old and i guess you wasnt looking hard enough if you didnt see remote references or other wii specific features

wrong, there`s much about the wiimote, even with speakersupport (wpad.h and even demos)

and it`s not that old, just about 6 months or so..but it seems for me, that some parts are just missing..i think there were branded by big n and so syndicate just dropped them

but well, i also think that it doesn`t help to get homebrew running, but it will help, if we finally have homebrew-possibilities

The previous one that was floating around (never scene released IIRC) was v2.0, so I guess this wouldn't be massively different from that one.
