Wait, so is Nintendo saying that Western Devs will show the same support as Eastern Devs for the 3DS? Or is Nintendo saying they are going to localize more Japanese games?

Some quality titles would be very much welcome, i have only bought 3 games for the 3DS as the releases for me up to now have been mediocre.

There aren't too many games that I can think of that didn't get localized here. Well, good ones at least.

Professor Layton x Ace Attorney, Professor Layton 4, and Monster Hunter TriG? I think that's everything...

The phrasing is pretty vague, so this isn't concrete confirmation of anything. Hopefully it will hold true over the coming months, but we'll have to wait and see.

Gimme VLR before E3 and I'll be happy. (other games appreciated too)
Even though I know VLR won't be released so soon.

Honestly I really wish they wouldn't region lock games. If they didn't I'd have been playing VLR 2 months ago and international support wouldn't have to rush and play catchup.

If we get FE 3DS and eventually Soul Hackers, I'll live. That's all I really want right now, and Nintendo's really only responsible for the former.

JPN now have 20+ demo whereas Western have only like what 4 or 5 demo?
Most JPN Games takes a very long time to get localized and some don't even have a western release date which most probably means they are not going to be release outside of JPN.

probably this, as they can't really force western devs to make more games, but Nintendo can do something about this by releasing more JP games to the west (and probably vice-versa).

Means either "there's more Western devs working on the 3DS now than last year"

or

"We're bringing more titles outside of Japan"

Compared to GB, GBC, GBA & DS there hasn't been that must support from Western developers but then times are harder nowadays for a lot of developers with many having to make mobile games instead to cover costs and by pass a publisher.

As for the possibility that this means Nintendo will localise more titles, that could have something to do with then pushing the digital content. Releasing a digital title is less risky than retail.
