At least not an exclusive format. There are many third party solutions.

Meh. Until the eShop improves to the point I'd actually be willing to buy anything from it, I'll stick with my 2gb :D

I'd actually pay more just so I could have a SDHC card "made" by Nintendo.

Nah, I'd call that partly OCD.
Having a Nintendo brand SDHC card in a Nintendo handheld, you see.

Have they announced an official price for the cards? We don't want to hear guesses or "Because it's from Nintendo, so..." idiocy.

Yeah and they are forcing you to get it.
    Oh wait...
    :tpi:
    I didn't think so....

I kinda understand for some people who might want their system to match their accessories in term of parties...

If you've downloaded the nintendo video application, the extra-data needed for that is very large and can eat into the 2gb card very quickly.
I also like to put some tunes on my SD card, for when I go out and about and I take my 3DS rather than my DSi (moonshell).

That being said, SDHC cards isn't actually new, I'm fairly sure the DSi-branded SD cards already passed 4gb a while ago.

not the right moment to upgrade, so 2G will be fine atm... 16G or more is awesome for 3D movies, that is IF we can freely transfer 3D movies from PC to SD :)

    - and still waiting for the hack scene.

Willing to bet its a re-stickered Toshiba card. Toshiba cards came with the 3DS, anyway.

Class ranking is not related to quality, but read/write speed. A high class card could be of lower quality in comparison to a lower class card.
