So basicially you'll already have to have registered the Wii version of MP3 as well as the GC versions of MP & MP2 AND register Metroid Prime Trilogy.

EDIT: Yeah thats only one of the previous Prime entries. Shame you can just have done Hunters as well as Trilogy but meh...just pirate the NES game.

Actually, you only need to register one of the originals. Still stupid, as the origian metroid prime included it for free.

Wonder if MP1 still has the original Metroid included in it? I wouldn't be surprised if they took it out just for this.

Ow, I hate Ninty for doing this to me/us... Why do you have to register both one of the old games AND the trilogy just to receive a VC NES game? :hateninty:

Is this for Europe only? Because my account is not being recognized and it says my email is invalid when I try to do a password recovery.

The guy two posts above me is from the US and he said he got it. [IMG]

I actually thought they were giving away an nes cartridge. I'm sure that'd attract a lot more people

There's no way they'd do that. They'd have to set up a manufacturing process for such a minor thing...it'd cost WAY too much to be feasible. Not to mention the fact that not many people have NESs anyway.

Yea.... I'll have to chime in on this being a bonehead move. An offer that if you bought 1 or 2 of the originals and you get a coupon for 1/3 or 2/3 off the new compilation might be a better selling point. If the consumer didn't care that much about them to buy them separately on the initial release, a free VC copy of the clasic NES title that fans of the series would have already bought isn't a selling point....

A coupon for the VC in the trilogy box, or credit for a new VC game if you already bought the classic, that might be a nice bonus, especially if it was originally a part of the first game of the set.

Common sense: an endangered species in the business or government environment.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this game also released as a GBA remake or port? That would have been a lot better as a prize IMO.

Yes, metroid zero mission was an enhanced remake.

There was both a GBA remake and a port. Well, more of an emulated version.

Thing is Nintendo were saying that they would do something like this before VC launched, now giving away Punch-Out/Super Punch-Out with Punch-Out!! Wii is a nice touch, same with Metroid Prime 3 coming with a Metroid game but Nintendo always have to mess it up in some way.

Same with the points, I thought it was wonderful that Club points can be changed into Nintendo Points so you can buy stuff online but you don't get much and a lot of the time the site crashes when you try to convert.

This is why people are getting less loyal, a lack of reason to stay loyal.

they should always keep these things simple so tht many ppl can get interested rather than lose their confidence... a great idea i saw was the anniversary for contra where they put their previous games in contra 4 ds though not for this idea but still atleast this is better than what we are seeing
selling it as a lone title is not good
