According to Vice news Nintendo will begin repairing all joycons with the "drift" issue without needing proof of purchase or warranty.
It's very nice of them (especially not needing proof of purchase, though Microsoft did this with the red ring issue as well), sad it took someone starting a lawsuit for them to start fixing a known issue.
