Nintendo to fix drifting joycons for free, no proof of purchase or warranty required.

According to Vice news Nintendo will begin repairing all joycons with the "drift" issue without needing proof of purchase or warranty.

It's very nice of them (especially not needing proof of purchase, though Microsoft did this with the red ring issue as well), sad it took someone starting a lawsuit for them to start fixing a known issue.

They probably don't want to get sued, so I can see why they're doing this.

Hopefully a hardware revision comes along with this , so happy for those who will get their joycons repaired! And now I feel better about mine in case they start to drift again.
