They've been doing this drip-feeding since the Wii's eShop.sorry, I don't mean to laugh. I'm an expansion pack subscriber, and even I find it hilarious to see this dribble feed of games for the service(s).
For SNES/NES games, they're just a bonus for the online. Which also gives you save cloud storage. It's cheap, so getting a bunch of old games is just a nice bonus. I personally think when combined it's worth the 20 dollars a year. N64 expansion service is inexcusable though.Sony and Microsoft gave out AAA games to their subscribers, Nintendo gives you 30+ years game that people don't even want to play for free on emulators. I seriously think that the management at Nintendo are delusional - they think that people are still in love with their old games. They think that those old games are assets but they are just trashy roms that can be found in the back alley of the internet.
That logic never made any sense... The only thing that justify a service like this being paid are the games and special offers, everything else you just mentioned are basic features that shouldn't be paid at all.I don't personally sub to it. But I think people mainly sub to it for the online, and cloud storage. The NES/SNES games are just a bonus, and just there. Also, it's super cheap.
They have to pay for licensing fees. They obviously go after the cheapest ones.It is super super low cost (for them).
When combined, it's an okay deal. They're only charging for online, because their competition does, and people are dumb enough to pay for it.That logic never made any sense... Rival Turf is quite sluggish and wonky, it didn't age very well compared to its sequels (which aren't that good to begin with)all of them are actually pretty fun games, but trolling is too easy i guess
Wasn't there a guy that relentlessly pursue the rights of Cheetamen?Nah. a Cheetahmen 1+2 release tho.. now we're talking
I'd rather eat the rotten ass hole of road killed skunk than play either of those games.Wasn't there a guy that relentlessly pursue the rights of Cheetamen?
I'll prepare the stew, then.I'd rather eat the rotten ass hole of road killed skunk than play either of those games.
There was someone who claimed to have had a hacker fix the bugs, and I think avgn backed him, then distanced himself from him. Who knows what happened with that.I'll prepare the stew, then.
