TO ANYONE WATCHING THIS WITH THE SAME ISSUE:
ITS A CHIP PROBLEM, REPLACE IT!!

Hi, thx for the help to anyone.
I have a Nintendo Switch OLED modified with a rp2040 hwfly V4 that doesnt boot into Hekate anymore. (just boot directly into OFW)

The actions that brought to this point were these:
I removed the wallpaper with nx wallpaper then i rebooted into Emummc with UltraHand Overlay (installed from hb appstore)
this rebooted to Stock (OFW) and now everytime i try to restart the switch it just boot into OFW.

I already tryied to:
-replace all atmosphere and hekate related file
-reheathing D0 adapter (i also tested all points with a tester)
-reflashing the rp2040

i dont know what else to do, hope someone can help

ps: the led first go blue then green (in video is not really clear)

Hey there.
I tried many things. Resoldering all connections, dat0-adapter, kamikaze, apu-flex-cable, single-mosfet, different picos…. nothing solved the problem except installing an instinct (that i dont like so much, but it works)

What do you mean with never do it again?

i got the reboot error when with ultrahand overlay i rebooted to Emummc, an action that no program supports on Mariko switch so i tought that broke the chip

I don’t think its related to this. I had the problem without doing anything special.

And in my case the picofly worked perfectly on another oled, so i dont think it was damaged.

all connections are good
maybe they look good but they are not, maybe there is little tin. if all the connections are ok it must work. I don't believe in incompatibility or anything else, I made a ton of them and they all worked, if they didn't it was because of the connections or parts to replace like modchip or Flex. and it's valid for all models.

I did a ton of console, and two of them had those symptomes. I kept the exact same wiring and replaced with instinct and it work. Besides the same chip worked in another switch...

i checked all pins in diode mode, nand d0 is anchored to the resistors so its not possible it move, clk and grounds are good and others pin are easy

the chip disconnected from everything try to glitch with blue light and green (as in video and always the same blink)
its not even possible to access chip firmware and i dont know why

im just really sad that there is basically no reddit post or forum where this is talked about and i think someone could destroy their switch trying to "fix" the D0 point

I'm sorry to disappoint you but from experience there is no need for the adapter to move to fake the contact. Imagine the D0 sphere as a lung when it heats up it expands, when it cools it shrinks, even by fractions of millimeters. If you are lucky, keep in touch if you are not it can give problems of all kinds. for the cmd if the link is not substantial you have the same problem. If you weld a hair wire you have verified contact with the tester but you have signal problems.
If you want reliability over time, the only way is the kamikaze.
And I reiterate all and I mean all the consoles I have worked have always worked with Flex V1 or V2 indifferently from the console with RP2040-Zero without tricks like I2C downclocking

i get what you are saying now
i will wait for the new chip and if it doesnt work maybe ill send the motherboard somewhere to get it kamikazed (i want my console to last)

if i find a broken switch maybe ill learn to do it myself

do you reccomend it for me being an amauter?

As i said, i had the problem even with kamikaze.
When i replaced the pico with an instinct, everything works perfectly.
So i dont think its a bad solder-connection.

And i dont think everybody recognizes this behavior as it happens sometimes only in 1 of 20 cases….and after a reboot everything works well again.
