It’s time for a Nintendo Direct; one that features no games at all. With Universal Studios Japan’s Super Nintendo World set to be open to the public relatively soon, Nintendo has decided to share some excitement about the park’s imminent opening in early 2021. A 15-minute Direct will air, showcasing what Super Nintendo World will look like and teasing what’s to come. The Super Nintendo World Direct will be streamed to worldwide audiences despite it being exclusively a Japanese location for now, and will kick off tomorrow, December 18th, at 3:00 pm PT.

yea well, as i said... no Zelda, no Kirby, no Pokemon, no Metroid
ONLY Mario stuff, it's not representative of the whole Nintendo World
So yea... gonna be lame I guess, unless theyve shown us only ONE part of the park....

Also why is it called that in Japan and not Super Famicom World?

I’m planning to go, June 2022. Should be a little calmed down by then - gonna be very unpleasantly crowded for at least a year after opening. I’ve been to Tokyo Disneyland before but not Universal Studios in Osaka. My wife and daughter went there for the Harry Potter thing in 2015, but I went off on my own that day to see Himeji Castle and then to DenDenTown in Osaka to shop at SuperPotato.

Some of you guys don't seem too excited about this Nintendo theme park. You know, Nintendo? As in Mario Land? As in, you get to see a real-world representation of the Mushroom Kingdom? I think that's awesome!

I do wish it would come to the U.S., though. One theme park is not enough.

I think after how that company has been lately towards their fan/userbase, most would just like to see them crash and burn to the ground.
