Nintendo is bringing a DS-era franchise to the Switch with Big Brain Academy: Brain Vs. Brain


Big Brain Academy is back, as Nintendo has announced a new game in the franchise. The original DS game featured puzzles and brainteasers meant to test player's brains, while the newly revealed Switch version, Big Brain Academy: Brain Vs. Brain will feature versus party minigames, designed for friends and family to play together. Set for release this December 3rd, it'll be available digitally and physically for a lower-budget price point of $29.99.

Take on a series of brain-bending activities that test your mental mettle in Big Brain Academy™: Brain vs. Brain for the Nintendo Switch™ system! Want to see how you match up to brainiacs around the world? Hop into Ghost Clash mode to compete against other users’ data**. Choose from mental marvels worldwide, folks on your friends list, or family members who have profiles on the same system. Outside of Ghost Clash mode, check your rankings to see how your Big Brain Brawn matches up against others.

Is it me or is this "big brain" actually brainless??
I played and loved (still do) DS games, but this seem like a watered down, brain-dead, multiplayer version.
