Lots of shovelware this Holiday season...and some not so shovelware.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Nintendo of America has laid out its plans for the upcoming holiday shopping season—and a little bit beyond—dating a ton of Wii, Nintendo DS, WiiWare and DSiWare games, while also subtly announcing a few new ones.

The list is long and likely full of third-party goods for both the Wii and DS platforms that won't appeal to the general Kotaku readership, so here are some highlights.

    * The Legend of Zelda: Spirits Tracks has been dated for December 7th in North America. You might already know that.
    * Sadly, there is no specific release date for New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It's still listed as a "Holiday" release.
    * Shantae: Risky's Revenge is coming to DSiWare from developer WayForward Technologies.
    * Art Style: Digidrive adds another bit Generations title to DSiWare and the Electroplankton DSiWare releases are coming stateside.
    * Nintendo will release Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon and Sparkle Snapshots via DSiWare, titles previously unannounced.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Oh dang, there's actually a lot of interesting games for the DS for the rest of this year.
    Cooking Mama 3!! :3
    CoD
    AstroBoy
    Spore Hero..maybe
    Star Wars
The Daring Game for Girls...haha, jk. I don't know what idiotic game that would turn out to be though.
    Legend of Zelda
    Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
    Mario & Sonic
Phantasy Star Zero!! Yeah I know it's been out in Jap for awhile but now I can understand it at least!
Sonic & Sega Racing...could be interesting..you never know! Also, what's up with these Sonic combinations -.-
    Kingdom Hearts
    Space Invaders
WWE...once again hoping for better controls/gameplay
    C.O.P
Lego Rock Band (just interested in seeing what they could do with lego bands)

And there's probably a lot more that could potentially be good since I can't tell what a game is about just by it's title.

It sucks that Nostalgia got delayed to October 20. There's a lot good games coming out for the rest of the year though.

I'm glad Zelda Spirit Tracks finally has a date, but I am dissappointed that New Super Mario Bros. Wii is "dated" Holiday. If it does not come out in November as I originally heard, maybe it will at least come out before Christmas.

The only games I really really want are NSMB Wii, PES 2010 on Wii and TLoZ Spirit Tracks on the DS.
For the rest, there are some great games, but nothing comes close to these 3.
