What in blazes! The Wii u of all things getting an update. never saw this one coming. Not gonna update regardless of what this patches and what it doesn't anyhow.
@Chary perhaps it's the Wii u meme that I made a while that summoned all of this xD

I feel like my Wii U is so stable that it'll probably be untouched by an earthquake at 10 on the Richter Scale.

It's already stable enough. You can't stable it anymore!

Probably a case of being legally obliged to update some privacy statement or some such.

Chances are that the update was only rolled out to comply with GDPR rules, I very much doubt that Nintendo invested any time or effort into updating a system they've officially discontinued a long time ago.

Updated. CBHC was removed from the bootup process so I just installed it again and everything is just like before. This was kinda expected

Did they actually do any code fixes or is Nintendo just addicted to mentioning ‘stability updates’?

The only thing changed is the men.rpx, someone who is better at decompiling can probably throw the RPX files in IDA/Ghidra and say what's changed. Update was compiled on 21st May at 09:57 according to the timeStamp.txt.

Anyone updated with haxchi? If so do you have to go through whole process again to install haxchi?

It changes nothing relevant. All exploits still work.

It just overwrites the system.xml so you have to reinstall Coldboot Haxchi again, no big deal. Just start the "DON'T TOUCH ME" icon and the Homebrew Launcher there. Normal haxchi is not affected.

If you have normal Haxchi, ok to update, your Haxchi will not be affected.

I just updated mine (EUR region) everything works the same.

As for being banned, 2 of my WiiU's are hacked and heavy use of online Splatoon (backup copy) for ages now, not banned.
