Nintendo games via GeForce Now (streaming service), not emulator
If that is the case, then sure they could be running them on Dolphin in the remote server, I don't think there is any law that prevents that given the GPLv2+ license. Only if they happen to make some change to the emulator source code, they should publish those changes, but who says changes need to be made?

Can you add in the original post a source link of where you read this nonsense?

I tried but it keeps telling me it might be some spam post, maybe because my post count is low?

The news is all over kotaku and many gaming and tech sites even the verge

and

with three Nintendo games pre-installed: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Punch-Out!!. All three games were originally available for the Wii nearly a decade ago at a measly 480p resolution. According the Ahmad they now run on the much faster Shield at what should be a nice and crisp HD resolution—meaning 720p or 1080p.

I also wonder about this.
Or is anybody replying in reddit a trustworthy source?
Sure he is very well known and renowned, but do you have some proof/link/citation.
Apparently he has an employee only flair.. I can't see flairs the app. So, I completely missed that.

Honestly, I more want to play these games on Switch instead of Shield. Nintendo has never released wii or wii u in our country. Now Switch has support Chinese language(though imperfect), but should we buy another machine to play them?
