Despite having an operating loss, Nintendo has managed to snap up a small profit for the year as weakening yen gives Nintendo a little momentum of $70M net income.

With struggling Wii U trying its best in the market, it's no brainer that this is the main issue being an obstacle into a healthy profit state as only 0.39M units were shifted between Jan-Mar. Total of 3.45M Wii U's have been sold since March 2013.

The company is still on course for a $1B profit for next year, with big titles for 3DS such as Pokemon and Animal crossing on their way, will no doubt help. Lets not forgot huge Wii U titles will be hitting latter this year.

In others news Nintendo has stopped the production of the NDS worldwide, Iwata to become Nintendo of America CEO and Reggie remains as President and COO as he always was.

You're absolutely right, it isn't any brainier. I thought the total of Wii U consoles sold since March would be much higher than 3.45 but, in saying that, I don't know anyone other than myself and ShadowSoldier that has one. I wouldn't be surprised if he owns the .45 of a console too. :P

The only thing I care about in that is that beautiful ocarina of time cover. So much better than the na cover.

1.29 million people bought Pokemon Rumble, about 1.26 million of them regretted it.

I'm happy with mine too. The thing is, I don't get much time to play gaems so it doesn't really matter to me if the releases are few and far between. I only just finished Arkham City a couple of weeks ago and I've had it since January. Then my kid deleted my SMBU saves so I've had all that to do again ;-) Even then, I have my PS3 and 3DS to keep me occupied whilst waiting for new releases.

On the other hand, people who bought a Wii U expecting a lot of blockbuster releases have a right to be unhappy with it. It's not a long-term investment for everyone, after all.

After my experiences with the 3DS, I am in no rush to buy a Wii U.

You would sort of expect Japanese hardware to be Weeaboo-Friendly. Just saying. ;)

3DS hasn't been weeaboo enough. I don't think I'm saying anything wrong there. Ninty need to weeaboo the fuck up.

The problem is the he's a European Weeaboo. Apparently Japan has somethinga against EU Weeaboos and makes things really bad for them.
