Surprised to see Castlevania DS. To be honest I thought they were going to be non Nintendo Castlevanias getting ported (Rondo of Blood, Symphony of the Night and another one).

Kinda disappointed to see it's watered down versions of DS Castlevania.

Now I'm curious if people will attempt to "port" the "Controller for Touch Controls" back to original DS roms.

The rest is meh, outside Capcom vs SNK 2.

Can't believe my favorite Castlevania game is back! I wanted to play Order of Ecclesia again for so long, so I bought the collection for the switch in a heartbeat.
No regrets since M2 worked on it once again.
The new Haunted Castle version is quite surprising. That definitely wasn't on my bingo card.

Oh yeah, and definitely gonna play Tales of Graces f Remastered next year. I bought the PS3 limited edition back in the day, but I never finished the game. auto-save is a godsend since the lack of it was one of the reasons I stopped playing it in the first place.

Dominous Collection was the only good thing...oh and Pizza Tower i guess.

How does it take that long for a simple NES rom to get added into a paid online service?

Drip fed bullshit to give the illusion that Nintendo is providing "content"

Kinda disappointed to see it's watered down versions of DS Castlevania.

Watered down? You mean the removal of the initially required gimmicky "seal" touch screen QTE from DoS? Steam reviews say that apparently they have been replaced with QTE button presses. Other than that it doesn't look watered down to me

I don't know if it's just me, but there's never anything good in Partner Showcases or Indie Worlds.
I only care about 1st-party or 2nd-party games, in proper Nintendo Directs; like, all the games Chary listed here? Don't care for any of them.

Lmao? Where was this years ago?

Also, I'll probably get the Capcom collection on Steam, because playing Power Stone 2 online sounds like a lot of fun.

Trails in the fucking Sky, for god's sake. Trails. In the fucking. Sky.
Come on! Can't wait to go on a journey with Bestelle and Joshua once again.
Odd timing, though (anniversary notwithstanding).

So, this is releasing - most likely - the year of a Switch 2 reveal (if not after) and most likely the year of its release.

Does this then mean we're getting Trails 1 for the Switch 1, and then 2 & 3 for the Switch 2? Or, are they remaking only the 1st game? Or, are we getting Trails remakes for the Switch 1 until... the 2030s? I guess that'd possibly indicate back compatibility, so these would be Switch 1 games officially, but fully playable (and better performing) on the Switch 2? Or, do they release 2 & 3 as Switch 2 games with the caveat that they're fully playable on the Switch 1? Would that just be digital, or would it apply to the carts as well (assuming we're getting carts?)?

And if they had all of them basically ready, they'd just announce the whole package or the intention to release them fairly close apart.

I fully expected this to get announced for next gen, so this is very puzzling. At this point I'm just glad they've embraced the PC.
