A Nintendo Direct was all but assured, once Nintendo announced the Switch 2, but now we have a time and date as to when we can learn more about the upcoming console. Nintendo has announced a Nintendo Direct that will air on April 2, at 6am PT/2pm BST. The announcement says we can expect to see a "closer look" at the Switch 2. While not confirmed, it's likely where we'll see the reveal of a price and launch window.

Because it's not the same as yours? It's just written how you would say it out loud.

April (4) 2nd (2) 2025 (2025)

Pretty simple actually.
We gave you a language, kindly use it properly 🤪🤪 KIDDING

But in all seriousness..... UK times?? I can never figure this shit out as im a dumbass person!

That's a quirk that's only working with particular languages.

There is a simple reason I like the date format used in Japan (YYYY/MM/DD) the most:
It is in (descending) order AND there haven't been weirdos who messed with that by coming up with a YYYY/DD/MM variant. You simply can't go wrong with it. 7 years from now you could even shorten it to YY/MM/DD and nobody in their right mind could misunderstand it until the year 2101 comes around.

And I instead would say the 2nd of April 2025.

And it's also an aberration unique to the US so yeah.

You know that's the US way to write dates, right? Oh wait you're from UK.
I think that fact has been referenced sufficiently by the first word of his comment. :)

Jokes aside, I really do think that a country actively using that format doesn't make it any less weird. Heck, my native language pronounces the number 154 like "one-hundred-four-and-fifty" and even though I learned it like that I am objective enough to see that it's defying logic? What I want to say is you don't always have to be on the other side of the fence to see that your own side is messy.
