Nintendo apologizes for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet performance problems, new patch released
When the review embargo for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet lifted, one of the biggest problems both critics and players had with the games was the performance issues. A little under two weeks have passed since then, and it looks like Game Freak is getting around to fixing some of them. A version 1.1.0 patch of the game has been released for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, bringing the first season of ranked battles to the games, as well as patching out select bugs. Included in the patch notes was also an apology from Nintendo, who stated that they are currently working on improvements to the games, in regard to performance problems.
We are aware that players may encounter issues that affect the games' performance. Our goal is always to give players a positive experience with our games, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We take the feedback from players seriously and are working on improvements to the games.
unless you overclock with sys-clk + RAM patch which honestly saves the game. Then throw on a game speed code to make it 1.5x speed because otherwise the game is sluggish and then its great. I hate how this doesn't fix low FPS NPCs which are completely pathetic - I knew something was wrong when the windmills in the very first trailer were super low FPS.
