Today Nintendo announced it's first mobile game:
From the WSJ:
So it's Miiverse for android?
March 2017, what lol?
Is their mobile department currently one dude?
Actually even then it'd probably still be done sooner.
Tomodachi Life for Android? Can't wait :o
Same company that dropped Swapnote? Probably trying to find away to make it as safe as possible. Anyway, cool.
Really trying to be different, but Mario or DK Run wouldn't hurt.
That is an error in the source article. I updated the quote to 2016.
Maybe they should have called it Tomiidachi.
That isn't a game, though it does look like a better way to chat with people you don't know that well.
It isn't going to mobile only, is it?
yes it is complete with M$T
And if it's on our phones, we can get the sprites
I like your thinking! Unless they come encrypted like everything else they release... Let's hope not.
Miiamoto most likely. ;D
I can't be the only one who finds this disappointing, right?
I see it as a relief. I have no obligation as a Nintendo fan to get it- unfortunately when DeNA gets the exclusive rights to Mario Galaxy 3 I might start flipping tables.
I kind of doubt that's going to happen. A game like that would be a poor fit for mobile platforms anyway.
with any luck they will put all the crappy boring 2d marios on phones and leave all the good 3d ones for NX. that way we'll be rid of 2d mario on NX forever
Mario Maker actually looks fun though. Not to mention 2D Mario games still sell ridiculously well. There's no way they'd drop them.
I would expect a mario game to kickstart this new platform. Not some cheesy ass miitomo game. I know there all about family oriented games and damn, look AROUND YOU.
