Its a matter of opinion and preference.

And tbh, if you refer to Vans as "grandpa" shoes, youre probably not far from being a grandpa yourself. Could just be a cultural thing though.. who knows.

I would not equate style preference to intelligence, but I do agree they look like grandpa shoes.

I think the only reason they're equated with "grandpa shoes" is because they're a slip-on style that makes it easy to put on without bending over if you're in, say, a nursing home, or have a bad back

I personally think that they look pretty cool and they're convenient if you're in a rush in the morning

That is true. Good point, they actually do sound pretty nice and convenient. Wouldn't mind to slip-on a shoe.

I havnt had to tie my sneakers in months and just slip them on and off, besides these shoes look fugly as hell and vans arnt known for that amazing quality though I guess its better than converse at least...
