Hardware Nintendo 3DS XL Hyrule Edition EU 6 More Days

Just wondering which screen IPS or TN this Hyrule Edition will be coming with and is there any way to confirm which box most likely to have IPS 3DS

I believe the US version of Hyrule Edition came with IPS screens but I sent mine off to be hardmodded so I can't check to be sure ><
I don't know how to check the box to be sure. Should probably buy yours from a shop with a good return policy in case you don't get one, if nobody else knows

it's possible. imo it doesn't matter that much, just stick with what you get lol... no need to return and buy another like so many people have been doing.

just picked up hyrule edition today and got double IPS. my mate works at gamestop, i explained to him TN vs IPS and being the good mate he is let me open them up to ensure I got the right one (picked right on first try) since the boxes aren't sealed.

NICE..how many box you had to open and did you turn them on to ensure.any advice for what to look for in box?serial or the box opened differetly than other boxs you open

just turned it on to check. as far as I am aware there is no 100% way to tell without taking it out and turning it on. A video I watched showed 2 versions of the inner box and 1 is usually TN and the other IPS. My inner box was "TN style" but IPS screen.

I got a N3DSXL with TN screen and another N3DSXL with IPS screen, really i don't care, both work great and that's what counts
You could say the same for NAND chipset, my TN version has a 1.3GB NAND size when dumped the ips one has a 1.9GB nand size when dumped, do i care, no, it works great and both run A9LH CFW
