To celebrate the 25th years of Pokémon, Nintendo Japan are going to launch Nintendo 2DS in 4 colours with a download code for your edition. For example:

Pokémon Yellow ----> Nintendo 2DS Yellow Edition.

Nintendo 2DS will be available with 10.3.0-29J update at the moment (rumours) and in Green, Red, Blue and Yellow colours.

For all users (This is the good news), finally, if you're 2DS owner, you can convert your Emunand to 10.3J (Nintendo 2DS can't support EmuNand JPN actually because there isn't any 2DS Japanese firmware)

Nintendo America haven't planned launch this special edition. I don't know if in the future they think this possibility.
