I like the sound of the demo thing, hope we get a demo for something.
Makes sense to delay the Wii U launch. They made mistakes with the 3DS launch, best if they learn from them.
I'll agree with PWN. The best thing I saw in there is the Demos. That's what I love on the 360 is scrolling through and finding random game demos.
Seems like nintendo 3ds sales are stabilizing. That's good news; more sales -> more software -> more sales -> more software and so on. Hopefully, it'll get some robust library of upcoming games once I decide to buy the super smexy Ice White 3ds
But seriously, region lock... ugh.
*hopes for a hack or revision*
Fuck yeah, glad to hear they've learned from the past mistakes. As for the wii U... I'll stick with my precious wii for the next years much like my N64
What does region lock got to do with revisions?
Ugh... Those investors and their love for phones.
I'm kind worry about abused dlc and demos. Like using dlc to make you buy the game earlier or pay demos. *Looks at Capcom.
Everyone seem to be learning. Not that it is a bad thing, but expect a lot of ported titles for the beginning of the Wii U launch.
Which hopefully wouldn't last long...
To a core platform? So they are catering less to it for everyone platform? Could be misreading that...
That could simply mean that they want more people to have it as a main system.
Anyway, hope for a good launch to please everyone and hopefully I have the money by then.
let's hope they keep thier word, no doubt they will.
I'm hoping ninty does something about the region lock with a firmware update (if possible) or by releasing a revision/new i3DS lite XL 4D Vita (which is more probable if they ever decide to remove the region lock)
I doubt this is going to happen in the next 3ds, though ;_;
Region locks had at least a partial purpose back in the ol' days of early gaming. However, that reason is completely dismissed on a self-contained handheld that is practically the same in design for all regions. They only do it now because of cultural differences and the pricing each region decides.
So the 3DS at the start of its life is selling the same as the DS at the end of its?
2010 sales not 2011. Even then the DS at the end of its life is doing better than most consoles did at their starts and I think the 3DS is head to head with what the DS did in its first year.
Pretty good start for the 3DS considering its not quite got its killer title, as much I like the look of Mario 3D Land and others there still isn't a game that makes me want to buy a 3DS.
I'm happy with the eShop coming to PC, for some reason my wireless is really poor maybe because I share it with others but my wired connection is golden.
Yay demo finally, and for DLC, it might be good or bad.
Can't wait for this update
Note the word POSSIBLE
I think this is the Sapphire/Ruby remake that's been floating around twitter
You missed the part about the record loss.
Not being biased here, it's just a huge part of Nintendo's financial status. Not to say it won't change with the holiday.
Also, that's a rather late launch if feels for the WiiU. I was expected Spring 2011, not summer.
the need to have GAMES for the wiiu so if the have to delay it good make it ass good as possible
I feel like the other 2 are going to reveal basic concepts for their next gen systems at E3 making everybody lose any interest in the Wii U (not like it had much interest to begin with...)
It is a prediction, it isn't final. Also having trouble locking down if Nintendo is saying this or is someone saying this about Nintendo.
Our dollars becoming weaker doesn't help.
Look like it possible for them to lost 1 billion, but for the most part, it seem like behind the scenes
rather then certain selling of all hardware.
Is that site reliable? Other sites aren't posting such a lose...
